I assume these are something to do with the volume? I eventually managed to change it, a list of available outputs comes up at the very bottom of the screen and you'll come across it if you're lucky, not the popup button as announced. When trying to change the output settings, which I change a lot when I'm using Skype for my radio show, it announces the output options as a popup menu, however pressing this only seems to bring up a list of numbers ranging from 0 to 10. I still can't figure out how to call people on the latest version, I had to get them to Skype me in the end, and even then the first time they tried calling, it was ringing but VO kept announcing "Skype has no windows", so I couldn't even find the answer button. When scrolling through the contact list, the names of the contacts are read but selecting them using the up and down arrow keys together takes me to the chat section for a completely different contact to what VO just announced. It seems to lag loads when pressing any button, with VoiceOver reporting it as "Busy" for a good 5 seconds after clicking the My info or Contacts buttons, for example. Today when I opened Skype on my MacBook Air, it automatically updated itself to version 8.11.0.4 and the experience with VoiceOver has changed from not too bad to terrible.
